Hosting Telesiminars to Boost Business

At first thought, the idea of holding your own teleseminar might seem as out-of-reach as starting your own professional basketball team. As you'll discover in the next few pages, however, that's simply not the case. Teleseminars aren't just for the likes of Tony Robbins, John Grey, and Suze Orman. In fact, thousands of internet marketers, small business owners, and solo professionals regularly use teleseminars to reach new audiences, establish themselves as experts, and create new products. And so can you. Some people charge thousands to teach you how to master the fine art of teleseminars, but you really won't need to spend that kind of money to learn the ropes. Teleseminars don't have to be flashy events with slick graphics, big-name speakers, and four-figure price tags. Instead, most of the best teleseminars are much more down to earth. They're a lot like traditional seminars, except that they are usually less formal and presented over

Tips for Doing Business on Fiverr

Most sellers and buyers on fiverr are great, polite and helpful people. But then you run into the bad seed and it tends to ruin it for others, as it makes you wary and frustrated. Here are some tips and horror stories from dealing with the fiverr community. 1) Be as helpful and professional as possible. This means answer messages promptly, end with a "thank you" and don't oversell your other gigs. If you have other gigs, you can let people know about them, but don't add a laundry list of them in your delivery messages (read: desperate, clueless about marketing). 2) Don't act as if you're doing someone a favor when they buy your cheapo offer. Just because it is only $5, it doesn't mean it should be any less than a full-flavored delivery. In other words, if you got a sample of a cookie, should it be less tasty just because it's free or discounted? 3) Don't threaten or harass: Here is a copy of a message from a seller who got negative feedbac

The Power of Using KLOUT for Social Media: Interview with Miriam

Miriam Slozberg, Author So, Miriam, why did you write this book? I wrote this ebook because the fact of the matter is, social media is extremely prevalent to the point that is it taking over not just traditional forms of advertising (radio, TV, print) but the first thing people do if they want to find out about you is to look at your social networks and activity. If you say you are a professional in a particular field but yet there is nothing that you have done online that shows that, no one will take you seriously. The fact of the matter is, what you do online spills onto your offline world. That is how prevalent social media is. See Miriam's book, The Secret to High Social Media Rankings How to Get KLOUT   Social media is a huge passion of mine and always has been. How to Promote Yourself with Video

Top 7 Ways to Use Video to Promote Yourself   Authors that self-publish (and even those that go the traditional publishing route) need promotion to sell their books. It’s a fact. Getting that usually requires lots of articles posted on the web, radio shows, tele-seminars, etc. Generally, just a lot of time to “get the word out” and build credibility and exposure   and try to drive traffic to ultimately buy their book.   Savvy artists are the same. They need to get their art out to the world. This helps build a following, increase credibility and eventually start getting their art into the hands of those that collect and appreciate it. Video is a prime promotional vehicle for such a visual medium.   Small business owners already know that marketing is important; but are they taking full advantage of the low-cost alternatives available to them? Marketing and promoting with vides helps increase their ability to get the word out about their business

As a busy entrepreneur one thing is certain: You're busy, you're stressed and you're sometimes overwhelmed. The last thing you have time for this week is sitting down to write an informative and perfectly edited ezine article. Marketing Success Lies in Buyers, Not Just Leads

Have you ever bought a list of supposed "double opt-in subscribers"? Or maybe "hot leads"? These lists are helpful, but surely not a panacea for getting bottom-line sales (as you've likely found out). These could range from people mildly interested in something (enough to opt-in) or even very interested (enough for double opt-in), but unless they are buyers, they are just freeloaders. Yes, freeloaders. I, also, am a freeloader on many things internet-based. How can you not be? Info is so easy to get; so free! I often subscribe to get something with a mild curiosity. Sometimes (rarely, though) I do go on to buy. But often this takes several visits and research before I purchase. You are getting the same thing if you buy leads. They are a list of freeloads. Maybe they'll buy from you; maybe not. If you're going to spend your money, wouldn't you prefer a small list of proven buyers who have shown to shell out their cash at offers like yours?
